The CEC (Consumer Electronics Manage) functionality lets HDMI units to regulate one another when needed. Also it lets the consumer to work many units with 1 handheld remote control unit. Several variations of HDMI have already been deployed and produced considering that initial launch in the know-how, but all use the identical cable and connector.
